In short: Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any
time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. You can cancel a paid
subscription whenever you like, and you'll keep access until the end of the
period you've already paid for.
Free trial
Recess includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you
will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins
automatically at the end of the trial and the applicable fee is charged.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time:
- If you subscribed through Google Play: open the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Recess → Cancel subscription.
- If you subscribed through our in-app checkout: cancel from within the Recess app, or email us at dheerajy2310@gmail.com and we will cancel it for you.
After cancelling, you keep access until the end of your current billing
period. Your subscription will not renew after that.
Refunds
Because a free trial lets you evaluate Recess fully before paying,
subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun.
However:
- If you were charged in error, or charged after cancelling during the free trial, contact us and we will refund the incorrect charge.
- If you believe you are entitled to a refund, email dheerajy2310@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge, and we will review your request in good faith.
- Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's refund policies.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within
5–7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
